Wakeboard Pattaya: Thai Wake Park Pattaya and Chilling Cable

The main place to wakeboard in Pattaya is Thai Wake Park Pattaya, a full-size cable park near Mabprachan Reservoir in Bang Lamung, about 45 minutes from U-Tapao Airport. Beginners can start with a 450 THB Low Speed Session that includes a coach, a board and a life vest. For a quieter, smaller setup, Chilling Cable Ski in Mueang Chonburi runs a two-tower cable closer to Bangkok.

ThaiWakeClub is an independent directory and is not affiliated with any park. Prices below are as of October 2026; check with the park before you go.

Thai Wake Park Pattaya

Location

Thai Wake Park Pattaya (also known as TWP Pattaya or Pattaya Wake Park) is at 58 Soi 3 Nong Pla Lai, Bang Lamung, in the green Mabprachan Reservoir area inland from Pattaya city. It is part of the same Thai Wake Park group that runs Lumlukka and ESC near Bangkok, and shares its LINE account, @thaiwakepark.

Cable and obstacles

The park runs a full-size main cable going counter-clockwise, plus a separate 295 m Rixen two-tower 2.0 line used for first rides, coaching and private groups. Directories describe the main cable as a 5-tower Sesitec system, but that is not confirmed. The main lake has 10+ obstacles, including kickers, rails, a fun box and a slider, and the layout rotates. Water skiing and wakeskating are also offered.

Opening hours

  • Monday to Friday: 10:30-18:00
  • Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: 09:00-18:00

The official site gives an 18:00 weekday close, while one directory says 18:30. There is no night riding in Pattaya, so plan your session for daylight.

Prices and what's included

  • Low Speed Session: 450 THB for 1.5 hours on a slower cable, with life vest, starter board and coach guidance included.
  • Club Card rides (normal speed): from 395 THB, including life vest and starter board. You need a Club Card; the session length for this price is not confirmed, so ask when booking.
  • Lady Day: every Friday, women with a Club Card ride all day for 395 THB, life vest and starter board included.

After three beginner or Low Speed Sessions you get a free Club Card, which unlocks the member rates. Third-party sites quote a full-day pass in the 700-950 THB range, but we could not confirm it, so check the current price list at the counter or on the booking site.

Note that the 995 THB 2.5-hour Beginner Lesson sold at the Bangkok TWP parks is not offered in Pattaya; the Low Speed Session is the beginner product here.

Facilities

There is a restaurant, free parking and an Intensity Pro Shop. Some directories mention basic rooms or bungalows on site, but the official Thai Wake Park site lists hotels only at its Bangkok parks, so do not count on staying at the park unless the team confirms it.

Chilling Cable Ski (Chonburi)

Chilling Cable Ski is a small two-tower 2.0 cable at 69 Moo 12, Soi Amphawan, Nong Ri, Mueang Chonburi, near Wat Chong Mafueang. The operator sets the speed for each rider (reviews mention levels 1-10), which makes it friendly for first-timers. There is one kicker for those ready to jump.

Rental, coaching and showers are available, and the park has also offered flyboard and jet ski, with boat wakeboarding mentioned in a 2023 review.

Hours: reported as 09:00-19:00 daily on one travel site and 09:00-18:00 on a directory. Neither is confirmed.

Prices (unconfirmed): the only figures come from older reviews. A 2019 review quoted 1,000 THB per hour for the cable, and a 2023 review quoted about 1,200 THB per hour shared by up to about four riders, with equipment and instructor. A directory estimates 500-800 THB per rider. Treat these as a rough guide only.

There is no website or online booking; contact the park through its Facebook page before you go.
