FAQ

How many wake parks are there in Thailand?

As of 2026 we count 14 cable parks confirmed open, plus Canyon Wake Park in Chiang Mai awaiting confirmation, across Greater Bangkok, central Thailand, Pattaya–Chonburi, Hua Hin–Pranburi, Phuket and Chiang Mai.

How much does wakeboarding cost in Thailand?

From about 400 THB at Taco Lake (ride until 18:00). Big cables like Thai Wake Park Lumlukka and ESC Rangsit charge 850 THB for 2 hours. Prices as of October 2026.

Can I wakeboard if I can't swim?

Yes. Every park requires a life vest at all times, and most have a speed-controlled 2-tower cable for first-timers. Tell the coach before you start.

Which park is best for beginners?

Neverdry Wakepark (separate shallow beginner pool, coaching included), WakeGarden in Bang Na, and Thai Wake Park Lumlukka (two training cables and a 995 THB beginner lesson).

When is the best time of year to wakeboard?

The cool season (Nov–Feb) is best, but you can ride all year. In the hot season ride early or at night; in the rainy season check the hourly strip here and get out of the water at the first lightning.
