About ThaiWakeClub & how we rank
ThaiWakeClub is an independent guide to the cable wake parks still operating in Thailand. We don't own or represent any park, and no park pays to be listed or ranked.
How we check the data
Hours, prices, facilities and coordinates were checked in October 2026 against each park's official site and booking system and against wakeboard directories updated in 2026. Where sources disagree we show a "check with the park" note. Distances to attractions are approximate.
How we rank
Scores out of 10 combine five things: cable size and type (full-size scores higher), facilities (night riding, food, accommodation, pro shop), how well it suits beginners and kids, value, and how confidently we could verify the information. Parks whose open status we couldn't confirm are listed but not ranked.
The 7 criteria
Each park is scored 1–10 on seven criteria: cable (system, length, options), features (kickers, rails, variety), beginners (training cable, coaching, speed control), facilities (food, stay, shop, parking), value, access and setting. The overall score is the average of the seven, rounded to one decimal.
What the scores mean
- 9.0+ — Outstanding, a regional benchmark
- 8.0–8.9 — Excellent, worth travelling for
- 7.0–7.9 — Good, suits particular riders
- Below 7.0 — Clear limitations
Why you can trust us
We don't accept money or perks from parks in exchange for rankings or awards. Every park shows the date its data was last checked, and we re-check prices against official sites every quarter. If we ever add booking links that earn a commission, we'll say so clearly on that page.
How riding conditions are worked out
We use Open-Meteo's hourly forecast at each park's coordinates. Hours with a thunderstorm, a 70%+ rain chance or wind of 35 km/h or more are red. Hours with wind of 22 km/h+, a 40%+ rain chance or a feels-like temperature of 40°C+ are yellow. Everything else is green. If there's lightning, get out of the water — always.
